We are pleased to announce another session of our successful Aromatherapy Class.


This course primarily addresses health issues and will be useful to anyone with an interest in preparing aromatherapy blends which can be used in every aspect of health care. You will come to understand the different types of external applications, inhalations and theraputic properties of essential oils.


A number of effective formulas will be presented which are useful in the treatment of baby and childrens disorders, respiratory, reproductive and emotional areas. You will learn to make regenerative skin care products, healing bath oils, lotions and ointments.



The course is structured as individual daily seminars so if you can't complete the entire course you can still attend the individual classes, however Day 1 is a pre-requisite for all consequent days.


Class times are 10am - 4pm on the following Sundays:

Day 1 - 15th July - What are essential oils? How are they used? How can they assist in health care? Applications and contra-indications. Top, Middle and Base Notes, Blending factors.

Day 2 - 5th August - Using essential oils in pre and post-natal care. Essential oils for childhood illnesses. (Pre-requisite - Day 1)

Day 3 - 19th August - Essential oils and formulas for the prevention and treatment of Sinus conditions, headaches, alopecia, thrush, tinea, constipation, colic and relief, varicose veins, etc. (Pre-requisite - Day 1)

Day 4 - 2nd September - Practical demonstration of clay in face masks and the technique of facial lymphatic and sinus draining as well as ear candling. Learn and treat various skin conditions. Bring along a shower cap, 1 pillow, 2 small towels. (Pre-requisite - Day 1)

Day 5 - 16th September - Completing the study of 20 essential oils, their uses in a variety of conditions and ways of making your own blends, creams, ointments, shampoos and conditioners. (Pre-requisite - Day 1)



Optional:


Day 6 - 30th Spetember - Aromatherapy Massage. Very special massage, specific strokes and moves and application of therapeutic oils.

Day7 – 7th October - Aromatherapy massage continues
